Melissa James Jacobs
Aesthetician | Founder
Melissa, the heart behind Bare Beauty Skin Studio, believes in unveiling unique, radiant beauty through personalized skincare. Her approach caters to individual needs, guiding clients towards rejuvenation and empowerment. Beyond her expertise, Melissa is known for her warm, empathetic nature, fostering trust and creating a supportive environment. Committed to staying current with skincare advancements, she ensures the best care at Bare Beauty Skin Studio.
Melissa's journey in aesthetics began when she graduated from Aveda in 2009, after which she joined Blue Medspa in Huntsville, AL, where she perfected her skills in facials and advanced treatments such as CO2 fractional laser, laser hair removal and skin resurfacing.
Following a move to Florence, AL and the joys of starting a family, Melissa decided to launch her own business. Over five years, she diligently built a loyal client base, and eventually, she relocated her business to 324 North Court St., where she assembled a team of dedicated aestheticians who share her passion for skincare.
Melissa's story is a testament to her unwavering dedication and entrepreneurial spirit, and her studio is now a hub of artistry and client satisfaction in Florence, AL.
Mattie Poss
Aesthetician
Mattie is a Florence native who graduated from UNA with a bachelors in fashion merchandising before finding her passion in skin care and esthetics. She then went to Huntsville where she got her esthetician’s license and now specializes in facials, body waxing, brows, and Microblading.
Mattie has wokred at Bare Beauty Skin Studio for 3 years and truly loves all of her clients like family.
Mikayla Clemmons
Aesthetician
I’m Mikayla, and I’m a 29 year old Florence native. I am newly engaged and have a son that keeps me busy! I attended the Aveda Institute in Franklin, TN and have been a licensed esthetician for almost 3 years.
Mikayla started working at Bare Beauty Skin Studio in November 2020 and hasn’t left since! Her favorite service is derma planing because there is no downtime and the results are instant. Mikayla enjoys helping others relax and feel their best!
Taylor Gist
Aesthetician
Taylor Gist was born and raised in Huntsville, AL but has lived in Florence since 2016. She has been with Bare Beauty Skin Studio for almost 2 years now.
Taylor specialize in lash lifts and tint, as well as facials and facial waxing. Her favorite part about her job is meeting new people and helping them achieve their skin care goals.
Callie Melick
Aesthetician
I’m Callie, a recent licensed esthetician that’s been lash extension certified since 2019. I found my way to Bare Beauty Skin Studio through my sister, Mattie. I came on as a lash instructor for her and Taylor. That turned into lash pop-ups, which eventually turned into me being the part-time artist. I’m so excited to introduce more skincare services this year, as I’ve recently gotten my license.
Callie a Florence native, currently living in Decatur with my husband and two dogs. She graduated from UNA in 2017 before finding her passion in the beauty industry. Callie looks forward to meeting you all ♥️
